Salesforce Administrator Job Description

In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal utilization of our Salesforce platform. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, from user management and data maintenance to configuration and customization.


Responsibilities:

  • User Management:Create, manage, and deactivate user accounts and profiles.
    Assign appropriate permissions and roles to ensure data security and access control.
    Provide ongoing support to users regarding login issues, navigation, and basic functionality.

  • Data Management:Ensure data accuracy and integrity through data cleansing and duplication removal.
    Develop and enforce data entry standards and procedures.
    Manage data import and export processes.

  • System Configuration and Customization:Configure and customize Salesforce objects, fields, layouts, and workflows to meet specific business needs.
    Develop and implement automation processes using tools like workflow and process builder.
    Design and maintain custom reports and dashboards to provide data insights to various departments.

  • Integration:Integrate Salesforce with other business systems (e.g., CRM, ERP) to ensure seamless data flow. (May vary depending on company needs)

  • System Maintenance:Perform regular system backups and monitor system health.
    Stay up-to-date on the latest Salesforce features and updates, and implement them to optimize the platform.
    Troubleshoot and resolve user issues related to Salesforce functionality.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator or equivalent experience in a CRM system.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce core functionalities, including objects, fields, relationships, workflows, and reports.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator) a plus.
